I haven't purchased anything yet. We're just building the purchase order
and wanted to be sure what we ordered would work before we ordered it. I
know that's not typical, but we decided to do a little planning on this one
:).

- since.py etc are in /usr/share/weewx/user already so indeed I can try and
use them. I tried to directly use since in the format line of
weewx-mastodon, but haven't succeeded yet:
`{since($hour=24).rain.sum:%.3f}` , `{since(hour=24).rain.sum:%.3f}`...
Does the Davis datalogger no longer work with a Vue ?

Or did you buy the new Vue with the touchscreen console ?

I just setup a WeeWX instance with your import config file in your first
post but using rain = discrete and a csv data file using the two records in
your last post. I ran wee_import using these files and --dry-run and
--verbose and received somewhat different output to what you posted, in my
I see some references to interfacing "Vantage Vue" to weewx, but the
console does not appear to have any ports on it. Has this been
successfully interfaced?
We intend to install WeeWX with an APRS interface (Direwolf) so we can
broadcast weather data to APRS for local use by our hospitals.
I wanted to get a better handle on how WeeWX-Jas could better handle cache.
So I followed this,

to upload to AWS S3. I then hooked up Cloudfront to using,

Thanks for the tip. That looks like a fun next project.

Hi Gary,
I followed your advice:
1/ I now have in the rain field of my csv file the amount of rain that fell
over the previous 5 minutes.
2/ I changed the config file so that rain=discrete is now the config value
Unfortunately, the integration of the csv file in the weewx database with

Hi,
Just to say that I fixed the problem. The problem wasn't caused by the
update to 4.10.2 but instead an upgrade to Python 3.
Having updated 'pyephem' everything now works fine.
This is the command I used to complete the update..
sudo apt install python3-ephem

It's a non-critical error that is only a factor when using --info.

Hi,
before starting weexw I wanted to check the connection to the Vantage
again. I first stopped weewxd and then called wee_device -info. Here is the
message:
wee_device --info
Using configuration file /etc/weewx/weewx.conf
Using Vantage driver version 3.5.2 (weewx.drivers.vantage)
