Do you perhaps have "lower_case_table_names = 1" set in my.cnf?
Weewx use camelCase so if you have that set you need to disable it and then
restart mysqld and rename the columns after restarting the database.

urt to add an exception for this and some print in the logs. It's not a
major issue and can easily be fixed by renaming the tables after the server
configuration is changed (if possible and nothing else is preventing it).
