[weewx-user] new install (4.8) using the GW1000 extension - missing ET?

2022-07-04 Thread John Hill
Sorry - this is going to sound poorly informed... but here it goes. I've been running weewx for years since the 3.x days. Using the interceptor driver - first with the Ambient Weather devices, now with Ecowitt using a GW1000 as a gateway. During that time I made numerous tweaks to the file

Bingo. I never would have figured that out on my own. Thanks Gary, Just out of curiosity, where are all the other group associations stored (from import weewx.units)? I'm curious why/how extraTemp8 wasn't set to be the same as extraTemp1-7. -- You received this message because you are

Hi, Finally got around to adding more temp/soil sensors to my setup (3.9.2, gw1000, interceptor). Everything went fine, except for some reason the unit is missing from the last temp sensor i added (extraTemp8) and the last soil sensor I added (soilMoist5): [image: Untitled.png] Those

Hi Thomas, Sorry to rehash an old thread, but I was looking though your wxformulas.py for more info on the ET calc. As you mentioned, ET used to be calculated as a rate but now is just a measured quantity, like rain. However, the calcs and the examples in wxformulas.py still reference a rate.

Hi, was running 3.5.0 since Sept 16 and ET was calculating correctly but my curiosity got the best of me and I upgraded to 3.6.2 and now my ET readings (reported by the skin) are at ZERO (0). Digging a little deeper, the archive is actually capturing ET readings, but they are so minuscule they
