There are no further entries in the log. But the RPi does not crash because it reacts to keyboard and mouse. After a "sudo /etc/init.d/weewx stop" and "sudo /etc/init.d/weewx start" everything will be ok. Since I am an RPi newcomer, I will now start looking for other logs. Thank you Am Freit
