There is little sense having the awning controlled by the wind sensor of
the weather station. Since the wind sensor of the weather station should be
located at a free, elevated position where the wind can blow uninfluenced
at any direction and the awning is mounted to the building, where wind

Today I moved to user.extensions.schema_extended, but when i ran

For my particular situation, I might ask the author (which is myself, haha)

Is this a known limitation or intended or just my issue because of the slow
reading of the REST API?

I think simply changing to "Simulator" and a restart will do. But backup
your database before and restore it, before you connect the real station

Well then, I will pronounce it that way. And I don't care what people

And what doest it mean/stand for? My guess is that at least one of the "W"

Or maybe first: Is "WeeWX" pronounced? Or do you simply say "double u e e

Hi,
I run weewx on a raspberryPi with a WS28xx station. I also have a 3kW peak
solar panel on the roof of my house. The solar power inverter logs a lot of
data which can be read over a JSON API. So what I am doing right now is
running a cron job every 5min that looks into the weewx database
I see. The AC-adaptor is behind a filter and overvoltage protection. I
doubt power related issues are the reason. I really think things like
logging, compressing logs an logging on the same physical storage cells
over and over again is the real problem. As long as there is no management
like
Thanks Gary for your suggestion. I'll give that a try.

Wow, three years are amazing. I've killed two of the same kind you've been

moving the raspberry pi's root to a nfs share on my NAS. If you have a NAS,
I recommend doing this!
