in standard weewx there is only the one layout
in the wiki there are other skins that people have created. some are easy
to install others are more difficult. The 'prettier' the harder would be a
good rule of thumb!!

I do not move the pages to /var/www/html but instead I have a symbolic link
weewxweather in /var/www/html which points to /home/weewx/public_html and

can you view the index.html file within weewx/public_html with a browser??
are you browsing on the rpi itself or from another computer??
