[~struberg] I am not sure I can see what it is you find disputable, please provide more details.Is it the expectation of { { AnnotatedType.getJavaClass()}} to return the implementation class of an EJB bean with {{@Local}} interface? The list of classes observed from PAT observer should contain all the classes anyway (impl and local interfaces), as spec mandates that you fire PAT for each of them.

Mark Struberg I am not sure I can see what it is you find disputable, please provide more details. Is it the expectation of {AnnotatedType.getJavaClass()}} to return the implementation class of an EJB bean with @Local interface?
