Does anybody has a pre-built G.729 codec (linux) module for OpenWengo that can
make available for download. I am running Gentoo, and I have problems
installing the Intel IPP library (seems to be supported only on RPM systems),
and therefore I can't build the codec myself.

There are a great many legal issues associated with the G729 plug-in -
patent licences for one, and the conditions surrounding Intel IPP for
another. A free software implementation of G729 is possible, but doesn't
yet exist to my knowledge. Please be aware of these legal issues before
