Follow-up Comment #4, bug #21961 (project wesnoth): I installed today a fresh VM with Windows 8 Update 1 and BfW 1.11.13. I can reproduce this bug in the tutorial with Konrad - so it is *not* fixed! Can i change the status or must i open up a new bug report?

Follow-up Comment #5, bug #21961 (project wesnoth): 1.11.13 is the version where this bug was discovered. It has been fixed on the development version (not released yet... but soon). Please check again after that release to confirm it really is fixed. Thanks for the report!
