Follow-up Comment #9, bug #25177 (project wesnoth): Should we require SDL 2.0.4 for Linux builds as well then? I had to rebuild my Linux compilation yesterday after a distribution upgrade and I noticed SConstruct specifies 2.0.4 for Windows, Mac and Cygwin, but only 2.0.2 for everything else.

Follow-up Comment #8, bug #25177 (project wesnoth): I can almost exactly reproduce this issue on Windows 7 using SDL 2.0.2 with current master, for what it's worth. Using this version of SDL instead of 2.0.4 also causes numerous other minor issues with the UI as well.

Follow-up Comment #6, bug #25177 (project wesnoth): Actually, no, it doesn't happen on the 1.13.5 release. As far as SDL2 2.0.4 goes, it's not available through my package manager, so installing it could end up being a chore. I might not have time to try it before the weekend.
