Clearly SADIC ANDAMA DDEBO is a Lugbara name.He is now Captain. I can not rule out people who are actually from West Nile but have names that are not necessarily from Lugbara,Kakwa,Alur,Madi,Jonam or any of the West Nile tribes. West Nilers also share names from other cultures of Uganda. ---

Point made Anguyo. this brings in the question of what is in a name?  Most recently we witnessed a one Andiru change/formalise her name to  Nebanda before becoming a Honorable Member of Parliament, what does that say in so far as gaining public office and in this case promotion in the army?

If history has anything to educate us, perhaps we should reflect back on the composition of the army in the past governments and promotions in those governments. Perhaps if we looked back and reviewed how many Generals, Brigadiers, LT,Cols, Majors, Captains,etc came from West Nile during Amin;s
