Hrvoje Niksic did a patch for this, but he does not seem to have 
committed it to CVS yet. Look for a message in the archives with 
subject "Re: xhtml? Re: Standalone html parser", dated June 29, 2001, 
by Hrvoje Niksic (who seems to be taking a break from wget at the 
moment).
