GNU Wget 1.5.3.1 for Windows

2001-03-18 Thread Andi Vontobel

Hello.

On linux, wget www.xyz.com gets only data from this URL.
on windows it takes also data from linked URL.
(e.g. amazon.com, books.com and some more what happend this weekend :-(
)
Why this difference?
What can I do against it?

When a take the --domains=LIST option, it only brings me one file.
It's a little bit hard to make a --domains=LIST with all the domains
it brought me this weekend!

I use the following commandline (in a .bat-file)
wget -r -m --proxy-user=USER --proxy-pass=PASS --proxy=on
--execute=http_proxy=hasproxy:8080/ %1

Thanks for a hint

Andy

i guess that `-N' (or `--timestamping') is what you're looking
for.
