If use wget to retrieve a nonexistent URL, it returns an exit status of 1,
as expected. But if I use the '-p' option, it returns a status of 0.
Is there a reason for that or is it a mistake?
This is something that is not supported by the http protocol.
If you access the site via ftp://..., then you can use wildcards like *.pdf
