I would bet that this "Skipping." is results from the French date output. The listing parser supposes that the dates are in English (actually, even my fully Czech-localized machine sends ftp listings completely in English). -- jan

Quoting R. Daneel Olivaw ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): > wget -d ftp://user:pass@HOST//tmp/TESTDIR Given the URL syntax, TESTDIR is a file. If you need the contents of a directory, "ftp://user:pass@HOST//tmp/TESTDIR/"; is the correct syntax. -- jan ---+ Jan Prikryl icq | vr|vis center for virtual reality and <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 83242638 | visualisation http://www.vrvis.at ---+

As far as I remember (I do not have an access to any HP/UX machine right now), wget was able of FTP downloads from HP/UX 10.20 FTP server. If you are experiencing any difficulties, please, give us more details - preferrably a debug output generated by `-d' option. -- jan ---+ Jan Prikryl icq | vr|vis center for virtual reality and <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 83242638 | visualisation http://www.vrvis.at ---+
