Learning Path - learn by definition

Biometrics: fingerprint scanning
WhatIs.com

Fingerprint scanning is currently the most widely-used form of biometric verification. Today, thanks to its relatively low price (retail units go for under $100; chips cost $20-$30), high accuracy and compactness, finger scanning devices are easily integrated into keyboards, mice, notebooks and small peripheral devices. In industry, it's often used in conjunction with a strong password to control access to buildings, rooms, filing cabinets, lockers, computers and data resources.

Learning Path: Fingerprint scanning
We call the idea "Learning paths." You could also call it "Learn by definition." The idea is simply to read a series of definitions related to the same topic in sequence, one definition at a time, as a way to learn (or relearn).
