Up to 3 PhD student fellowships (4 yrs) are available in the area of
predictive materials modelling at the Department of Materials Science
and Engineering (McMaster University, Canada).
The work involves atomistic simulations (DFT) and interaction with
experimental groups. The current research interests include:
(1) Photovoltaic energy materials,
(2) Molecular surface functionalization of nanoscale materials for
energy storage,
(3) High-entropy alloys for armour applications.
The positions are available as of Sep 2019, but application before Feb
2019 is highly recommended due to logistic reasons. Application details
can be found at http://olegrubel.mcmaster.ca/jobs.html
Thanks for your interest!
