Summary: link dialog doesn't truncate a redundant space Product: MediaWiki Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Normal Component: Vector Skin AssignedTo: tpars...@wikimedia.org ReportedBy: amir.ahar...@mail.huji.ac.il In Monobook if the user selects some text in the end of which there is whitespace and presses the link button, the final ]] go before the space, which makes sense. The space can be selected, because many browsers selecting not just by letter, but by word, and it often includes the space after the word. In Vector, this space is by default included in the link, which is probably not needed. A simple example: Monobook: select "Barack Obama "; press the link button; result: "[[Barack Obama]] ". Vector: select "Barack Obama "; press the link button; press "Insert link" without changing anything else; result: "[[Barack Obama ]]". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
