Summary: Consider using googleon/googleoff tags for certain elements of the HTML output Product: MediaWiki Version: 1.18-svn Platform: All URL: http://code.google.com/apis/searchappliance/documentat ion/46/admin_crawl/Preparing.html#pagepart OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Normal Component: Page rendering AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org ReportedBy: theevilipaddr...@hotmail.de I believe it's worth consideration to remove certain elements from the Google indexing. This can be done with the <!--googleoff--> and <!--googleon--> tags. I have already noticed editsection links or the jump to links within the Google text, which are quite useless there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
