Looking at the days the problem was reported they both [1,2] seem to be

Hmm, is Featured Article formatted automatically by Wikitext? It seems strange
that a paragraph tag would be absent when that seems to be an automatic
function of

Where does the featured article get pulled from (apologies for my lack of
knowledge)? Would be good to check the history to see what happened here to
make it a div.
