Also, what does Elasticsearch's health check
(ES_HOST:9200/_cluster/health?pretty) say?
If it says RED then the problem is that elasticsearch isn't happy. I'm happy

Sorry, for replica count to take effect you have to rerun
updateSearchIndexConfig. I'll make sure variables like that are more clearly
marked in future.
