That's a different (but equally valid) issue (SPF vs DMARC). The SPF issue can
be solved with sender rewriting. I'm surprised that hasn't been implemented
yet, to be honest.

I don’t think (3) is a good solution since it’s a loss of functionality for
DMARC senders and it would add as much code as (2).
Between (1) and (2) and status quo, it depends if:
