Something like ifoo/iibar/i *could* be serialized as
''foo''nowiki/''bar'', but that is not what we are currently doing (and nor
is it very desirable IMO).

Looks like rsvg's rounding issues are causing problems with the masking. The
svg itself is fine at that size when accurately rendered.

Yes, that was the original idea. Minimization on the way out is still nice for
round-tripping (and HTML sanity), but on the way in it is actually important
for serialization.
