Firefox Nightly is roughly the same as the usual Firefox, just a future unstable testing release. When I use it, I see all the sections expanded by default and I see the TOC as well. When I open the same pages in Firefox Android stable and in Chrome on the same phone, the sections are collapsed by default and the TOC is not shown. Behavior in Firefox Nightly, as well as in the Beta and Aurora versions, should be the same as in Firefox Stable. When a template doesn't have a description in TemplateData, a link is shown to
the template's page in the Template namespace (using the
visualeditor-dialog-transclusion-no-template-description message).
This link is very useful.
I don't see such a link when a template does have a description. Compare, for
example, how adding {{Reflist}} is different from adding {{LGBT Welcome}}.
For advanced users the description in TemplateData is not a replacement for the
whole page, so there should always be a link to the template page.

It wouldn't be, but one step at a time. Separating out the non-attribution
content from {{Credit line}} seems like the first step to make licensetpl_attr
actually usable in some cases.
The aforementioend example
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:(Boletus_edulis).jpg is problematic for
other reasons. It uses the {{Attribution}} template, which denotes a
non-copyleft license (!) in the permission field, in combination with the
CC-BY-SA and GFDL licenses , which _are_ copyleft.
It looks like the author intended to use {{Credit line}} and would have been
better off to use neither and just specify the author correctly. These
templates create a lot more confusion than they solve, IMO, but let's sort
through this mess and see if they're supportable.

It appears that a rule in enwp's [[MediaWiki:Common.css]] is overriding the
badge styling.
