Event occurs when user begins typing the name of a tag into the add tag input box on the page for one of their own cohorts. A list appears with existing tags, typing filters list to existing tag list, and selecting a suggested tag auto-completes it in the input box (like google). Close the console, refresh the page, and it's back to normal. The interesting thing is that as soon as you open the console, regardless of which stage you're at in UW, it will stop functioning properly. Things will happen, but they will only be partial. I.e. some JS will work, but not everything. I have a feeling that some of our JS is somehow conflicting with the console's JS. This is a recent development and since UW code changes have been minimal lately, I'd investigate core change first. Gabriel, 'wt' still contains the original wikitext for the parameter value as
it's always done, we're just adding a new paramWt attribute that only shows up
if the original parameter name wikitext is different from the actual parameter
name that would be used in expansion.
I think the example was a little confusing because the comment in the param
name is the same as the param value, sorry for that. Another example, this time

The problem is, this can't and will never work, at least not so easily. In Wikibase the Q numbers are the titles. The labels are not titles. Wikibase labels are not unique. MediaWiki page titles are. If you type a MediaWiki page title (e.g. Q123) which is known to be a (unique) title Special:Search will do a redirect for you. There are many reasons this can't work for labels, especially the fact that labels aren't unique (try to search for Berlin) and multi lingual. Sure, we could try to implement some kind of label lookup that does a redirect if only one search result is found. But since there are so many labels and so many duplicates this isn't going to work in most cases and will be counterintuitive in others. @Lydia: Daniel said this was once discussed at length. Can you post a link to the discussion? I suggest to keep this block a key request closed. (Really, why should we block typing Q123 if that's what a user wants?) Changing skin did not resolve the issue. Wiki is running on a CentOS with self certified SSL. Accessing files that are on the commons is possible, and these are viewable by the editor. Copying the Link properties to other media links does not help, they are still invisible to the editor. Normal Text is editable and media are accessible there. Tried Workarounds found on several pages: Changing permissions to all-read-true and/or all-read-edit-true did not resolve the issue. (in fact, if I do that, many pictures are not viewable - they are still there and linked, but show broken image) Granting the ImageSearch read permissions did not help. granting localhost, 127.0.0.1, our url and our IP read permissions did not help. 2 API-Queries returned expected results (https://dpaste.de/0Adz for ?action=queryprop=imageinfoiiprop=url|sizeiiurlwidth=220titles=File:Logo.jpgformat=json and ?action=queryprop=imageinfoiiprop=url|sizetitles=File:Logo.jpgformat=json Locally (on a Ubuntu machine) the pictures are being shown, yet the local media repo is empty to the VE. We are running parsoid as a service run by root, the log file reports API request failed when trying to edit a page with pictures in it. I've intermittently seen an error coming from jQuery UI: $.ui.plugin is undefined coming from jquery.ui.draggable.js I'm guessing some code isn't loaded in the right order, or something along those lines.
