I just tried {{{field|Book|input type=dropdown|values from category=Books}}}in
a form and the results obtained in dropdown were sorted alphabetically. 

I think this bug can be closed.(Unless the reporter of the bug meant something
else?)

Hi, I am willing to work on this bug. But I din't get the context of it. Does
it refer to the dropdown in the Special:CreateTemplate? Or Something else?
