Web browser: --- Bug ID: 47717 Summary: VisualEditor link input text always has ltr direction Product: VisualEditor Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Keywords: i18n Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: User Interface Assignee: rm...@wikimedia.org Reporter: amir.ahar...@mail.huji.ac.il CC: jforres...@wikimedia.org, krinklem...@gmail.com, rm...@wikimedia.org Blocks: 33126 Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: --- Steps: 1. Write some text in VisualEditor in the Hebrew Wikipedia. 2. Select a word. 3. Press the link button in the toolbar. A small link insertion panel appears. Observed: The direction of the <input> element for the link is ltr. Expected: The direction of the <input> element for the link is supposed to be rtl. Comment: It does make sense to set ltr direction by default for external links (http://www.example.com). For internal links the default direction should be the same as that of that Wikipedia's content language. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
