Summary: Special:PrefixIndex goes ahead and finds a mess without first being asked Product: MediaWiki Version: 1.17-svn Platform: All URL: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: Normal Component: Special pages AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org ReportedBy: jida...@jidanni.org Why does [[Special:PrefixIndex]] go ahead and find things before it has been told what to find? E.g., click on the above URL. You see it has "wastefully" found "everything starting with what it thinks is a null pattern" or something. Why can't it wait until someone has filled out the box instead of forging ahead and finding junk nobody is interested in "for free" without being asked? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
