https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35947 Tim Landscheidt changed: What|Removed |Added Assignee|rlan...@gmail.com |wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia. ||org --- Comment #21 from Tim Landscheidt --- http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.org.wikimedia.labs/2651: | > Of particular interest would be to hear if there are plans to IPv6 | > enable the labs web proxy server and start publishing records for | > the dns aliases one can register in wikitech? | Our current networking stack in Labs currently makes this overcomplicated. | But there is good news: as we roll out to our new datacenter in Dallas, | we plan on having Openstack there use Neutron, which should allow us to | deploy IPv6 as well, so at the very least Dallas instances should be | IPv6 capable. | After that, upgrading Ashburn to use the same networking setup as Dallas | becomes something that can be planned for. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 35947] Enable ipv6 on labs
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35947 --- Comment #19 from silke.me...@wikimedia.de --- Allen, I have to precise what I meant. I am trying to prioritize what is crucial *just* for Tool Labs to replace the toolserver. Features that are absolutely needed for toolserver tools to migrate. As Maarten brought in that the toolserver has ipv6, I was wondering if there are tools that can't migrate without ipv6. If this is not the case, ipv6 is no blocker for toolserver migration. I wasn't meaning that ipv6 is unimportant for the whole of Labs, sorry! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
