On the page on mediawiki.org https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:ISBN (check
action=history) VisualEditor keeps removing certain characters after I try to
use it to make changes to the page. An example is given at
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor:Test
Reproduction steps:
1. Set up a new page using the following code
<space><space><space><url><apostrophe>
<newline><space><space><space>
example text1
example text2
Where <space> is one hit of the spacebar and <url> could be any URL
2. Modify other places in the text, such as "example text2".
3. See the first character in "example text1" get cut off.
4. Modify "example text2" again and see "example text1" get cut off again.
