Web browser: --- Bug ID: 59934 Summary: named ref tag does work as expected Product: MediaWiki Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: General/Unknown Assignee: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org Reporter: dominique.mic...@vtxnet.ch Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: --- On https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histoire_de_la_musique#Origines_de_la_musique it is the reference <ref name="Jeanne">Jeanne Bovet, ''La musique dans la joie'', Berne, éditions Les cahiers de la joie, 1972.</ref> that appers appear 3 times in that section of the page, and another time in the next section. As it is now, the compplete reference is used for the first 2 times, and only the short form is used for the last 2 times: <ref name="Jeanne"/> The result is that I get the reference at the bottom of the page, but only 3 times, the first reference is skipped. If I replace the second complete reference by its short form, I only get an error message at the page's bottom like what it is no reference called Jeanne.
