Steps to reproduce:
-Create a numbered list as follows:
1.item 1
2.
3.item 3
-Now add indentation to the third item , so it becomes:
1.item 1
2.
1.item 3
-Now place the cursor just before the item 3 and press delete
Instead of having the item 3 unindented the resulting list comes up as:
1.item 1
2. 1. item 3
