Bug ID: 62742 Summary: When cutting and pasting list items, it is hard to achieve the intended formatting Product: VisualEditor Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: General Assignee: jforrester+veteambztick...@wikimedia.org Reporter: rages...@gmail.com CC: jforres...@wikimedia.org, krinklem...@gmail.com, ryasm...@wikimedia.org Web browser: --- Mobile Platform: --- If I cut items from a bulleted list and try to past them into another bulleted list, the formatting gets confusing: *Extra empty bullets get left behind when I cut. *The relationship between an existing list and new items I paste to the end of it can be wonky. Extra line breaks appear, and sub-bullets lost their relationship to each other, so that pressing tab to increase the level of indentation sometimes creates two bullets in a row instead of just increasing the level of indentation. See this screen recording for more details of my experience: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Screen_recording_of_trying_to_move_bulleted_list_items_in_VisualEditor.ogv -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
