@cooltey I think you don't need to set uselang. uselang is only for message translations, like user visible strings. Error messages and such AFAIU. You could set it to user or content, according to the help text in https

@Jdlrobson As long as you and @phuedx agree on what it should be and it's all in sync with the documentation that sounds all fine to me. It's certainly fine to introduce the new type in a later patch.

Are there any older app versions out there which might use a different method to get the data? Does Android use MCS?
Android uses MCS by default. There are a few exceptions but those wouldn't account for a big number like that. Where the numbers are coming from

@Tgr The iOS app does it directly through action=""> but that should be easy enough to change there to page_props as well if necessary. The harder part would be changing the description editing workflow on the apps.
Question: is this only for English WP?TAS

I want to keep this one open for a bit to give the Wikidata folks a chance to provide info if our solution could be improved. We might have to add more to the regex. There could be also a whole different way to restrict WD events to description changes.TASK DETAILhttps

Ok, then in the app case we'd probably want to use the uselang parameter since we'd want to display that to the end user.TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T47843EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: bearNDCc
