In Freebase, we had bot scripts that went through and removed Lists of
Things topic entities since they are lists of entities and not useful
clumped together and normalized in a graph database.
Does Wikidata have something similar or a user review process for deletion
of these ?

Having a separate box or section for a single site doesn't make sense. Commons
is a singleton project, like meta, not a family, so a section isn't useful
for grouping. It has nothing to do with how often it appears, or how big or

how common are these instructions in wikidata? I realize the items for
male and female have them, but then they have no site links

wikipedia app.

also, I notice (at least in android), we don't show descriptions if they are
too long (more than two lines). Not sure how we would handle them with editing
(maybe show, but truncate with ...). If editing / adding is possible then I
think it's important to show something

@mhurd @Lydia_Pintscher thanks for the heads up--this is a great example of why
we do not overload fields in a database and why wikidata should strongly
reconsider adding a separate field for instructions if they feel it is
necessary.

specific than classes is not a fatality.

I strongly dislike moving all repositories used by Wikidata to Gerrit. The same
goes for any such general policy, such as forcing people to use a particular OS
or IDE. If the people that contribute to a repository most want to have it at a
given location, than let

In Freebase, we had bot scripts that went through and removed Lists of
Things topic entities since they are lists of entities and not useful
clumped together and normalized in a graph database.
Why delete them? Wikidata has a number of things which are not your
standard entity - lists,
