I think my patches above take care of the Cloud Services/Data Services side of this (DNS and views support). The scripts I patched will still need to be run to create/update the DNS records. I don't think that anything in the views will actually change as a result of the

We can at least cache the information whether a regular _expression_ is valid. (Perhaps independent of our normal regex cache – there are way less regexes than regex-value combinations, so for this we shouldn’t need to bother with cache maps.)

Per the above, I'd make the failing job "non-voting" on Travis, to avoid the noise. Only temporarily, hopefully the issue gets solved soon.
Keeping the ticket empty for now, as maybe segfaults do indicate some issue in the actual Wikibase code.

I've been trying to reproduce the failure locally using close-to-Travis setting but I get no segfaults.
Also, when running tests on Travis with PHPUnit debug flag, there is no segfaults (build is green).

I doubt the response time is due to how much data we need to submit – it just takes a while to check these constraints. And we don’t know if a check is a compliance or a violation until we’ve done the check, of course :)TASK
