@JJMC89, these templates seem to have been imported to several wikis. There's a list at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q52154408 I don't think any of these are in use, however. I wonder whether any other templates have the same complications?TASK DETAILhttps

I think that this is the use case that interests me the most: At mediawiki.org, it should be possible to write, "TechCom has a weekly meeting in [[magic-language:IRC]]." and have everyone who clicks that link be able to figure out what IRC is.TASK D

Having that geographical data would probably be useful to Wikivoyage, too. I wonder whether other projects could benefit from it. Maybe {{requested photos}} at the Wikipedias? And I could easily imagine some editors at Wikipedia (or other projects) wanting

Note on alt text: This is for the benefit of people using Commons, i.e., when there is no contextual consideration, but where "Painting of X" or "Headshot of Joe Film" might be helpful to sort through images with sometimes unreadable names

I'm not sure if this is the right place to add this, but

to be English. For example, the last is "wep-1", and the text says that the
user has a basic knowledge

I'm getting this problem, too. I'm also using Firefox (latest version) with
third-party cookies disabled. It might be nice to have a help page about this
somewhere on Wikidata.
