To make the problem worse, looks like breakage started more than 30 days ago - which means we don't have a record of the old deleted entries in recentchanges, so we don't know which items to update :(TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T210451EMAIL

It does cause pretty severe breakage - all delete updates are missing from WDQS and people are complaining (in fact, have been complaining for a while now, I just now figured out that it's because we don't have any delete events at all!)TASK
