with the permalink for the thing the headline describes. Additionally the
headline itself is typically linked. When you click it, nothing happens (in

fallback from a variant? Users with their UI set to de-ch will see fallback
indicators nearly everywhere otherwise. For now, I'd use a css class do
indicate

The reason to show them is to get users to show labels. So I'd say we also want
to show it for variants. Adding css classes to differentiate and to allow
individual users to not show them sounds fine to me.

I think the next step is figuring out why they are not shown. And for that the
mobile team is probably better.

They are not shown because we hid them (not showing them is better than
showing them broken)

FWIW personally I think this show be hidden by default on mobile and revealable
- the interface can look very cluttered on a long article when we show all the
qualifiers

Aha! Ok. Makes sense.
And yes. Still the case. It really depends how much work this is going to be
for you to fix. I don't want to make you spent ages on this obviously. But otoh
the UI rewrite is ongoing and will still take quite a while. So if it is
fixable

That just makes maintenance harder, with no benefit I can see.
