But enabling it and "tricking" the user into clicking a dysfunctional button, just to show an error message, is worse I feel.
It would at least show the information the user needs to carry on. I suggested this because it matches the behavior when URLs

Hi @Nikki thanks for pointing this out. Indeed, on a second check I could not reproduce the difference between qualifier and reference anymore and thus I believe that it should change in both cases. I assume if a user just clicked on "add property" or "add reference"
