Lucie added a comment. @MtDu The edits are pretty nice already, but if anyone could go further over the text and improve it in general, that would be amazing. I don't think it's really helpful as is. [Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Created] T154869: Removing qualifier/reference using the keyboard (by pressing enter) saves the statement too
Nikki created this task.Nikki added a project: Wikidata.Herald added a subscriber: Aklapper. TASK DESCRIPTIONTo reproduce: Load https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4115189 Start adding a new statement, pick a property and enter a valid value for it Add a qualifier Press tab until you get to the "remove" link Press enter to trigger the link Expected behaviour: The qualifier is removed, like when you click on the "remove" link with the mouse Actual behaviour: The qualifier is removed and then any changes are saved, as if you'd clicked "remove" and then "save" This seems to happen whenever any "remove" link within the statement is triggered and the statement is in a savable state (i.e. if the save button is disabled because there are no changes or because some of the qualifiers or references are incomplete, it will not save it). It does not happen with any of the "add" links within the statement.TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T154869EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: NikkiCc: Aklapper, Nikki, D3r1ck01, Izno, Wikidata-bugs, aude, Mbch331___ Wikidata-bugs mailing list Wikidata-bugs@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikidata-bugs
[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Updated] T88804: [Bug] There are two "more buttons" in the suggester
Nikki added a comment. The example given in the description does not reproduce it for me, but the following does (with the interface in English): Load https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4115189 Start adding a new statement Type "f" in the property input field - one "more" is shown Select "sex or gender" Type "f" in the value input field - two "more"s are shown You can continue to get even more: Select "female" Start adding a qualifier - two "more"s are shown Type "f" in the property input field for the qualifier - three "more"s are shown Select "sex or gender" Type "f" in the value input field for the qualifier - four "more"s are shown Select "female" Start adding a reference - four "more"s are shown Type "f" in the property input field for the reference - five "more"s are shown Select "sex or gender" Type "f" in the value input field for the reference - six "more"s are shown Delete the qualifier Delete the "f" in the reference value field, retype it - four "more"s are shown It seems that there are as many "more"s as there are fields which had "more" shown for the user's search results, which is similar to the behaviour I reported in T146874 for the "No match was found" message.TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T88804EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: NikkiCc: Nikki, Lydia_Pintscher, thiemowmde, adrianheine, Snaterlicious, JanZerebecki, Aklapper, D3r1ck01, Izno, Wikidata-bugs, aude, Mbch331___ Wikidata-bugs mailing list Wikidata-bugs@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikidata-bugs
[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Commented On] T148279: Allow the history of deleted Wikidata items to be visible for a month
Billinghurst added a comment. It would be useful to maybe do some to write item titles in the DR pages rather than just rely on the (uniformative) item number. Is it possible to subst: something when a deletion request is being made? I am not against the deletion and hiding of sensitive material, that is possible through all the wikis by other means. At this stage the DR archives are next to useless; hardly worth keeping them. @Izno. I would have thought at a wiki that the context of a deletion should be visible for all users. Having CC0 does not equate to knowledge-0 and nobody should have to default to "ask an admin" for basic information for most items. That is against the principles of wiki-ism IMNSHOTASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T148279EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: BillinghurstCc: Billinghurst, abian, Wesalius, Izno, Lydia_Pintscher, Mbch331, Sjoerddebruin, Aklapper, ChristianKl, D3r1ck01, Wikidata-bugs, aude___ Wikidata-bugs mailing list Wikidata-bugs@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikidata-bugs
