Wikidata for the modern Vector skin. I'd like to either merge this within the 
next 2 weeks, or at the latest December 1st, if 3 months is a reasonable

  I think it's a useful feature, but it's quite confusing that this important 
bit of information (whether the query result is correct or just an 
approximation) is contained only in the result header, but neither on the HTML 
result page, nor when one downloads the result as, say, TSV. Wouldn't it be 
easy to add this bit of information at least to the HTML result page? For 
example, the the form of a message on top of the table.
  
  It also leads to seemingly non-deterministic behavior. When I tried various 
queries the other day, I sometimes got an empty result (which led me to believe 
that I mistyped something, but I didn't), and sometimes not. A message would 
have helped.
  
  What also confused me was that the query  SELECT (COUNT(*) AS ?count) WHERE { 
?s ?p ?o }  always gives an empty result. That is a very common and useful 
query to check the size of the knowledge graph. And it's actually very easy to 
answer. On https://query.wikidata.org , which is otherwise not known for 
super-fast query times, one gets the result in an instant.

  In some cases that feature could be useful, though I suspect many would be 
surprised to get results from an ordered query that might not be correct with 
respect to the entire data set.
  
  I tried the mentioned query, setting a timeout of 0 which disables this 
feature, and I got a 504 gateway timeout after ten minutes, when using the JSON 
format. This also happened if I set LIMIT 10.
  
  I then reset the timeout to a short one and the results similar to those 
reported by Hannah. After doing this, querying with a longer timeout returned a 
quick result, within a few seconds, but it looked to be based on the previous 
result set (or at least, did not return anyone with more than 15 professions), 
even if I increased the limit, which seems odd. I'd expect it to keep searching 
until the timeout.
  
  In fairness, I do not know if this is a query for which it would be 
reasonable to expect a complete result. Wikidata Query Service times out 
repeatedly on the same query after one minute.

  That's a consequence of the "Anytime Query" feature in Virtuoso that provides 
partial solutions in situations where a query cannot be completed within a 
specific timeframe. This timeframe takes the form of a configurable timeout, 
and is an critical feature for enabling global ad-hoc query access, 24/7, 365 
days a year re the likes of DBpedia and Wikidata.

  @Addshore I think that's a fair description. To add:
  
  - those pages are linked to the Discussion pages of each property, so are 
perceived as an integral part of WD, eg:
- Database reports/Constraint violations/P245 
: KrBot
- Database reports/Complex constraint violations/P245 
: not sure who generates
- Database reports/Humans with missing claims/P245 

- And there's a link for each individual constraint
  - It also generates useful Type Statistics (eg 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Database_reports/Constraint_violations/P245#Types_statistics)
 that allow us to evaluate whether the type constraints are right. Eg the first 
"No" is https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q15632617 "fictional human" (ULAN is only 
supposed to include real persons and organizations) and I can search for 
Q15632617 to see whether to remove that type from WD items, or to add it to the 
ULAN property

  The SVG  "delete row" icon and the tooltip-icons (the "i" in a circle) are 
barely visible with Windows High Contrast Mode enabled. This makes them much 
harder to use for people who rely on it.
  
  Windows High Contrast Mode WCHM forces a different set of colors on webpages, 
optimized for contrast, and is useful to people with severely limited eyesight.

  When the loading state is triggered, the Text Area turns into a different, 
lighter grey than the one we decided upon. 
  Here is a screenshot of the live version, whose color is #F8F9FA (Base 90):

  When the loading state is triggered, the Text Area turns into a different, 
lighter grey than the one we decided upon.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  The SPARQL queries that  expose constraint violations return the offending 
**statement**.
  But the statement URL is opaque: it's more useful to return the offending 
**value** (eg one can use it to generate a QS script to remove offending 
values).

running** should also be scheduled.

"SPARQL (new)" queries (a better version of one of them is shown at

 you only get a few violations

  As I understand the bot makes a page per property that contains a broken down 
list of current constraint violations for the constraints defined on that 
property, with some slightly useful extra data / formatting (such as the values 
at play)?

  This is basically a reopen of T189747 
 which was declined because the 
source is not available.
  @Ivan_A_Krestinin Can you comment about opening the source?
  
  The bot generates the constraint violation pages, eg see 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Database_reports/Constraint_violations/P2088.
  
  - These pages are the best way to work out data quality problems. Eg I'm now 
working out through 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Database_reports/Constraint_violations/P2088#%22Single_value%22_violations
 to remove stale or wrong CrunchBase identifiers
  - Given T201150 , this is 
currently the ONLY way to find constraint violations
  - But even when I can get all violations with SPARQL, I'll prefer to work 
from a generated WD page
  - The only improvement I'd ask for is to print the labels of WD items in 
addition to Q
  - (Hmm, 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Requests_for_permissions/Bot/KrBot 
describes different tasks).
  
  https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T189747#4058205 describes how the bot 
operates.
  
  If WMDE won't take over the operation of KrBot, another option would be to 
write a WMDE bot to do it.
  I believe that when violations are fully exposed for querying (T201150 
), this should be possible to do 
with SPARQL (or with SQL if they are also available in the underlying RDBMS).

I know the team is already aware that when the tablet (720px) and mobile 
(320px) breaking points are triggered the logo expands considerably.

  Can I make two related requests? Not sure how to post them as separate tasks 
related to this task, can someone from WMD do that?
  
  1. Change the query to return the offending value rather than the offending 
statement; which is more useful to eg generate a QS script to remove offending 
values. Eg for `P2088` Distinct Values, change SPARQL (new)
