TASK DESCRIPTION Actual behavior --- GIVEN I am on an article page with bridge-enabled links WHEN I click a bridge-enabled link repeatedly (real quick) on an under-powered device THEN multiple instances of bridge open "on top of each other" F31686775: Bildschirmfoto von 2020-03-17 11-42-45.png <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/F31686775> Expected behavior - GIVEN I am on an article page with bridge-enabled links WHEN I click a bridge-enabled link repeatedly on any device THEN only one bridge instance opens Notes - Does not usually happen on my device but happened during a resource-intense video hangout and can reliably be reproduced using chrome's CPU throttling (6x). We tried to address this before (`isOpening` in `init.ts`) but it does not seem to cut it. Maybe we have to go with the `once` option <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/EventTarget/addEventListener#Parameters> instead and reattach the event listener later. Pablo-WMDE added a comment. So the problem seems to be logged-in (@Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE) vs anonymous user (@Lydia_Pintscher, myself). Logged-in users hit the application server while anonymous are presented with a higher level [HTML] cache result (`x-cache-status: hit-remote`). There should (TM) be solutions in place overcoming this challenge but something is possibly broken on (en)beta. Way to show that the parser cache contains the updated value: https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Wikidata_Bridge_Showcase?foo=baz (random query is used to not hit the high level cache). @Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE found out that (de)beta does not seem to have the quirk. Looked into how we can tell apart API responses for failing saves: - being logged in as a different user yields `assertnameduserfailed` - not being logged in at all yields `assertuserfailed` If truly needed, there is also https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=help=query%2Buserinfo which we could use after giving the user to re-login to get to the username which they now go by (which may or may not be the same as before). TASK DESCRIPTION
Actual behavior:
GIVEN I opened a protected page on a client wiki
AND I am a logged in user with sufficient permission to edit it (so that
edit pens are indeed shown)
AND I wait long enough / perform an action in another tab to be logged out
WHEN I click on a bridge-enabled link
THEN I am presented with an APPLICATION_LOGIC_ERROR ("Error: Data Bridge
should never have been opened on this protected page!")
Expected behavior:
Unsure. Do we have a permutation of ErrorPermission to deal with this (I
doubt it)?

Thought during demo: "value was never correct and has never been" - people with conflicting opinion (think: politics) will most certainly select this option, even though from a technical standpoint we would want them to file a "competing" statement instead.
