TASK DESCRIPTION
  **List of steps to reproduce** (step by step, including full links if 
applicable):
  
  - Open a query with a map result view such as the example query Map of 
hackerspaces <https://w.wiki/4kia>
  - Click a result dot on the map to view it
  - Click the X in the top right of the bubble to close it
  
  **What happens?**:
  The bubble closes, but the query is replaced with the text "close"
  
  **What should have happened instead?**:
  The bubble closes, query is unaffected
  
  This isn't the end of the world, the query can be restored with Ctrl+Z/Cmd+Z. 
Also clicking outside of the bubble instead of the X seems to work fine.

profiles

 and all of these errors also appear to be in Firefox. We fixed it by wrapping 
the use of localStorage in a try/catch. Alternatively I believe the mw.storage 
<https://doc.wikimedia.org/mediawiki-core/master/js/#!/api/mw.storage> module 
can handle this.
