TASK DESCRIPTION
  Allow creating an article from Special:AboutTopic based on the Wikitext that 
is currently being shown on the page. This could be useful in case on some wiki 
the placeholders consist of text, instead of the current box structure.
  
  The page content is derived from Template:AboutTopic, so we would essentially 
also use that (how?) to get the full wiki text shown on the page as basis for 
an edit.

  You can just try the edit on an item, by changing the claim's "id", eg. to 
`Q584208$6dcf36c9-238a-435b-8ead-6fd1915b8548` to edit item `Q584208`. Also I 
made you an administrator on beta Wikidata now… while not needed here, it could 
come in handy sometime.

  I think this was just a very conservative choice back then (also to make sure 
that libel account names don't propagate). But this was way back (2014ish), 
even before the SUL-finalization, so I don't think this still stands.
  
  If we end up implementing this: I just looked this up and 
`MediaWikiServices::getInstance()->getAuthManager()->autoCreateUser` should do 
what we need.

  Last seen in production on `2023-11-11 21:05:24.503994` (and twice before on 
that day, no further occurrences on mwlog1002).
  
  All these three cases were API requests (by the same user) done via 
`Special:ApiSandbox` using the following parameters (queried from Hive's 
event.mediawiki_api_request 
<https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Analytics/Data_Lake/Traffic/mediawiki_api_request>
 table):

TASK DESCRIPTION
  Wikibase Lexeme has its own facility to localize language names (which is 
partly redundant to the localization provided by the cldr extension). This 
facility should not be used for languages supported by cldr, once these 
language names are localized there.
  
  This concerns the localization messages like 
`wikibase-lexeme-language-name-…` defined in `i18n/language-names/….json` and 
used in `LexemeLanguageNameLookup`.

  I just looked into this and the tracking category should be recorded all the 
time (it's a bug that it's not).
  
  Here's how this happens: `TrackingCategories::resolveTrackingCategory`, which 
is called indirectly via `Parser::addTrackingCategory`, expects to get a 
`$contextPage`. If this passed `$contextPage` is null or a special page it will 
abort (and thus no tracking category will be recorded). In 
`CachingKartographerEmbeddingHandler` we use 
`RequestContext::getMain()->getTitle() ?? Title::makeTitle( NS_SPECIAL, 
'BlankPage' )` to determine the page (which will eventually end up as 
`$contextPage`). As can be seen here, depending on the context of the call, 
this might be the actual page (eg. when purging using 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q7105617?action=purge) or Special:BlankPage (eg. 
when editing or purging via API).
  
  T337222: Properly inject the page and revision id when rendering Kartographer 
maps <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T337222> would solve this.
  
  As a stop gap, we could either manually add the category in Wikibase or 
loosen the checks in `TrackingCategories::resolveTrackingCategory`.
  
  If we decide that we don't want to have that tracking category after all, a 
setting could be added to Kartographer to turn it of for Wikidata (or just for 
entity namespaces).

entirely sure what happened here, usually my idea would have been that these 
parses happened in some weird context, but given that this also occurred after

  Feasibility for "Enabling prefix search for entity schema through 
`wbsearchentities`":
  
  In order to achieve this, I created a new hook in Wikibase that can be used 
to add additional "search handlers" for additional (pseudo) entity types to 
`wbsearchentities`.
  
  These "search handlers" then return their results as an array. Each entry in 
this result array in turn is an array containing both a `TermSearchResult` and 
another array with the result "entity" id, page title, page id, and 
(optionally) url. While this a rather awkward format, this could be made a bit 
nicer by creating a value class for holding all of these.
  
  The complexity of the EntitySchema side is rather limited, as it will only 
need to create an implementation of this new "search handler" which will use 
its (to be created) internal search functionality and return the data in 
Wikibase's format (see above). See https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/949105 (this 
implements the search handler class in line and doesn't wire it up with an 
actual search, but nevertheless should give an idea of how much is needed on 
the ES side).
  
  The changes in Wikibase are more convoluted. There's a huge difference 
between Wikibase's native `EntitySearchHelper` and how its results are used as 
API search results compared to the new facility. I tried my best to split up 
the functionality between code that needs an actual entity (id) to work and 
code that doesn't, so that most of the API result formatting code can be shared 
(thus not having to re-create that in the new "search handlers"). See

could certainly be polished a bit more, but I think it should give a fairly 
accurate picture of how `SearchEntities` would work in this case).

  The problem here is that Wikibase calls the `EditFilterMergedContent` hook 
before preparing the actual update, thus the `WikiPage` wont have a 
`PageUpdater` available (besides the `WikiPage` not being passed on to the new 
context).

  `OutputPageBeforeHTMLHookHandler` retrieves termbox entries for entity pages 
from the OutputPage (see 
`OutputPageBeforeHTMLHookHandler::getEntityTermsListHtml`). If this OutputPage 
property is empty we fall back to retrieving the full entity to extract the 
terms from that.
  `OutputPageBeforeHTMLHookHandler::getEntity` claims that in this case `// The 
parser cache content is too old to contain the terms list items`, but given 
this was added years ago (in 4b52cd637a1 
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rEWBA4b52cd637a10303db1911929072e04898d0e9833>
 in 2016), this surely isn't the case anymore.

  1. Make sure the `wikibase-terms-list-items` property is actually set in all

`SetClaimValueTest` will fail if `$wgUseInstantCommons = true` is set to true.
  
  This test used `commonsMedia` properties ever since it was introduced (in 
2012 with b2c768953d129aac692f4ed11e92f046188e8271 
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rEWBAb2c768953d129aac692f4ed11e92f046188e8271>),
 so I assume that the sudden failures originate from changes in MediaWiki's 
deferred update behavior (maybe during tests only).

  @Manuel Currently we will add languages from ULS for logged out users/ users 
without babels to the bottom of the box (dynamically in the front end). Should 
"mul" appear below these or above?
  
  Below these is certainly possible, would just be a bit more tedious to 
implement (as we want to re-use as much of the server side DOM as possible).
