My feeling is that this could be something like mix-and-match 2.0 were we also get - communication - using talk pages - handling duplicates / mismatches / data round trips - getting a controlled change stream and possibilities to handle/document mismatches better than today My understanding is that Europeana plans a sprint thinking about how they would like to work together with an open platform like Wikidata and I can try to write down some user cases with my experience importing data for 10+ WD properties... I think finding good patterns **working together** between loosely coupled platforms will be a key for achieving good things Europeana with a very loosely coupled network of I guess more than 6000 museums <https://rnd-2.eanadev.org/europeana-qa/?type=a=all=v2020-04=#cardinality-score-agent> is a great test for trying in the first phase just getting the European <-> Wikidata <-> 205 language Wikipedia working together... I guess as Wikidata grows we will have more "same name" problems so a picture is one way to qualify a depict that is language independent... in the future support suggestions and e.g. face recognition would be helpful... We are right now seeing a small chaos at VIAF regarding handling the Swedish National Libraries new system that is LIBRIS-URI Property:P5587 <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P5587>. I 100% support this feature that Wikipedia starts move away from linking strings to link THINGS I can see many more possibilities by linking Things not strings using Scholia per subject or author e.g. Mason Ellsworth Hale ==> Scholia Q18633472 to present what is in Wikidata finding other Wikipedia articles with the same subject/type of persons and based on those articles suggest sources Finnish National Library presented last week on SWIB18 a tool Annif were you use machine learning for extracting subjects from a text and then could send this to the Finnish National Library to get suggestion on books see tweet I guess this could be applicable if we link things in Sweden we have a community that have scanned 600 000 old pictures and used machine learning and face recognition to group pictures and add metadata. The feedback I have seen from the hardcore Wikipedia people that never touch WD but has opinion about WD is Occupations they would like to have in a specific order ==> the occupation they think is the "main" occupation should be first etc... If this is what we want then some kind of ordering would be nice and building another datalayer in the Template in what order they should be displayed is bad design. Data should be in the datalayer even if it is in this case a mix of a display feature and "importance"... also should every template "invent the wheel" BUT when I started to dig into this my feeling is that an Infobox should not contain everything so maybe a person with a "complex life" should not have 40 activities in the Infobox. just zero/one is enough ==> ordering is less important...
