@Lydia_Pintscher Yes, that was my point. Tools or bot operators who use the
WQS to get data can run into errors because of this.

@Mormegil Is it possible to temporarily just "hide" the link from users by a
"conditional CSS" that checks for presence of statements on the item? Maybe I
am imagining it wrong.

I think that the UI should not allow merging two items with statements like
it does now... I.e. I support the following solution:

This query looks OK in the "table view" but produces very similar, broken
results in the scatterplot view:

Before we agree about the correct order of languages, may I suggest we
display at least one language label (no matter which?) You can go
alphabetically if you like, but something is definitely better than nothing...

There is also great inconsistency. Why does "7. 12. 1967" produce
"1967-12-07" while " 7. 1. 1967" produces "1967-07-01"?

For example USA (Red) does not usually put dots between the codes. So it's
MM/DD/ rather than MM.DD., which is really quite rarely used.
