What do you mean? There was a patch ready to merge which I +1, though it might
have been messed up with since.

Update: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T100527 was figured out, and we no
longer have to worry about that backport. So we're blocked on i18n setting up
the language, and then this should be good to go.

@Ijon This is Goan Konkani (गोवा कोंकणी) and the official script in Goa is
Devanagari.

The language should not be called Konkani should be called Goan Konkani,
what's the exact equal in native?
We have to merge gom-deva into gom and remove gom-latn since it's only written
in Devanagari script.

I was planning to just do the deployment side (config, maintenance script,
etc.) once the language is actually imported to production. I don't think
there's anything left for ops here.

I have encourage the community to continue localization of messages to reach at
least the threshold of 18% of MW core. It is up to 16.6% now, and more
progress will follow in the coming days.

Apart from the fact that Glaisher and Nemo are not the people who can create
the new wiki, it still does not seem wise to create a wiki whose language is
still not exported, i.e. unknown to the software.

fwiw, i don't see a reason for the we usually do all the configuration in one
patch-rule. why couldn't i just set the logo while on it without having to
know the answer to all other config questions?
