The following VM has been detected as having been in-place-upgraded to an unsupported Ubuntu version instead of being replaced with Debian:

Yes, I upgraded it because MediaWiki needed a newer PHP version (T172165), see SAL. But if we now would need to move VM, let’s reopen T197583.

By the way, the wikidata-constraints system was similarly upgraded in-place, from Jessie to Stretch (see wikitech).
