NewUserMessage is only active on a few wikis (search "wmgUseNewUserMessage"), I doubt there is a problem (only) with this extension.

Put the NewUserMessage back as it is the prime reason that I started the message. I wrote above what I wished to be achieved please see suggestion a) or b) in original message.
In the end, that WD editing creates accounts is interesting, that it triggers the

+1 for this task. Encouraging users to include some important data from the beginning (such as a statement "instance of" or "subclass of") and, possibly, letting them use quick models for common instances (humans) would increase data quality, promote good practices and teach

I'd rather not create a duplicate service for something we already have perfectly good implementation for, and then have to support it in production. Everybody agrees we need this service, and not only for WDQS. The right thing to do is not to concoct some homebrew
